The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) has formally recognized Constables Ordel Robin and Lyndon Maximea for their participation in the demanding Commando Course 1/26, an elite training program designed to test mental toughness, endurance, discipline, and teamwork.
According to a statement issued by the CDPF, the officers underwent several weeks of rigorous physical and tactical training. The program included endurance runs, load carries, tactical shooting, room clearing, map reading, marine exercises, beach landing drills, and survival training, with a specialized phase conducted in Dominica.
Constable Lyndon Maximea received special commendation for successfully completing the grueling 30-mile loaded march, earning the coveted Commando Badge. The CDPF described this accomplishment as a “remarkable achievement and testament to resilience and determination.”
Constable Ordel Robin was also praised for his perseverance, completing 27.5 miles of the final march. The statement highlighted his courage, discipline, and fighting spirit, qualities expected of a commando candidate.
The CDPF emphasized that both officers embodied the values of teamwork, confidence, discipline, and professionalism throughout the course. Their participation, the Force noted, reflects its ongoing commitment to operational readiness and excellence.
“Congratulations to both officers for representing the Force with pride,” the statement concluded.
