
Lämmli and Daisy – that’s the name of SRF radio presenter Ralph Wicki’s stuffed animals. The 64-year-old has been taking his stuffed sheep, Lämmli, with him to work and on trips for over 30 years. Although the animals weren’t suitable for cuddling, they worked in the mind faster than any sedative pill, Wicki told the “Tages-Anzeiger”.
Retired banker Dieter Bornemann also knows this feeling. He lives in Zurich with 20 teddy bears. Molly, Lulu, Brummli, Alex: His stuffed animals have names and their own assigned characters. The 70-year-old describes his bear family as “companions and supports”.
