THE couple wounded in Thursday night’s shooting, which claimed the life of 13-year-old Krishan Khanhai, yesterday remained warded at the intensive care unit of the San Fernando General Hospital.
A relative described their condition as unstable.
Krishna Khanhai, 43, and Leela Pariag were taken to hospital; Krishan died at the scene on Thursday. A five-year-old, who had ran to the home of a neighbour, was unharmed.
The shooting occurred at Tramline Road, Union Park East, Marabella, during what investigators believe was a robbery at the home of the doubles vendors. Three 9mm spent shells were recovered from the scene.
The relative declined to speak about the incident and would only say that the couple was not doing well.
