

Copa Airlines reported that will resume operations on the Panama City-Barcelona route, Anzoátegui state, starting June 2 with three weekly flights: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The information was released by the airline in a press release.
With this incorporation, the company indicated that completes the reactivation of its destinations in Venezuela, which already include Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia and Barquisimeto.
The route will be operated departing from Panama at 9:35 am and arriving at the General José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport at 1:18 pm.
The return flight will take off at 2:28 pm to land in the Panamanian capital at 4:20 pm.
This reactivation, according to the company, will allow passengers from the east of the country connect with more than 85 destinations in 32 nations on the continent, including cities in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean, through the connection center in Panama.

Roberto Pulido, general manager of Copa Airlines in Venezuela, stated that the resumption of this operation It is part of the process of recovering the routes that the airline maintained in the country.
He also indicated that by the end of June it is expected reach 41 weekly frequencies between Venezuela and Panama.
“Barcelona is an essential part of the history of Copa Airlines in Venezuela, where we began flying four years ago. Resuming this operation fills us with satisfaction and reinforces our commitment to continue connecting the country with the Americas,” he expressed.
“This is the final step in the process of recover operation on all destinations that we kept in the country until 2024. By the end of next June, Copa Airlines will increase its frequencies and make schedule adjustments, which will allow us to reach 41 weekly flights between Venezuela and Panama,” he added.

The company noted that tickets for this route are now available through its website, call centers and authorized travel agencies.
With almost three decades of operations in the country, the airline assured that it seeks expand travel options and strengthen air links between Venezuela and other destinations on the continent.
