Sources told Bakhtar Agency that under the supervision of the Helmand Rural Development and Development Department and with the financial support of UNICEF, the construction of this network includes the construction of a concrete water reservoir with a capacity of 40 cubic meters of water, digging a well with a depth of 10 meters, extending 7180 meters of water pipes, installing 208 pipes and 9 solar panels of 600 watts.
According to the officials, during the construction of this network, dozens of people have been provided with work and with the completion of the project, 319 families of the area have gained access to clean drinking water.
It is worth noting that the provision of clean water is one of the most important needs of people’s health and daily life, and for this purpose, the construction of clean drinking water networks in remote areas is ongoing.
