In an interview on RAW CARIBBEAN TV small island big vibes in St. Maarten the founders Shanda Webster – Glasgow and Craig Glasgow of The Caribbean Baking Awards announced that the international panel featuring one of our very own culinary professionals from Antigua and Barbuda our very own – Chef Nadine Anthony, Trinidad and Tobago/Guyana – Chef Dominic Dart, and Sint Maarten – Chef Kareem Brooks, along with the distinguished celebrity judge from the United States – Chef Lincoln Alexander, now becomes the official judges for the Caribbean Baking Awards judging competition where they will continue ensuring world-class standards throughout the competition.
Antiguan Chef Nadine has been in the teaching arena for over twenty six years and has also been teaching, assisting and assessing both students and adults in baking and decorating for over eleven years. She has a passion for teaching, training and creating learning environments for both students and adults where she made a strong commitment towards their success in baking, cake decorating and in the floral industry.
She is a knowledgeable and professional teacher who has been teaching these skills to both teenagers and adults, providing them with a theoretical foundation and vocational hands-on skills training, to equip them with the skills, confidence, and inspiration for the baking and decorating industry.
Nadine is a passionate teacher who believes that every student has the potential to succeed even if it means gaining success through second chances, a method she has been applying over the years to support her students to better themselves. Their successes are shown through established businesses that they created for themselves in Antigua and in their homeland.
