Actress Júlia Nyakó died unexpectedly on June 20, 2026, wrote a Studio K Theatre according to the family’s statement.
The Aase award-winning actress was born in 1963 in Debrecen. As a second-year vocational high school student, he was chosen by film director János Rózsa for the main role in his film Sunday Parents.
Between 1982 and 1987, he was a member of the theater company of Mafilm. Between 1987 and 1991, he was an artist at the Kisfaludy Theater in Győr. Between 1992 and 1994, he performed at the Szigligeti Theater in Szolnok and played as a guest in Subotica. In 1994, he became a member of the József Katona Theater in Kecskemét, then worked as a freelancer. From 1997, he worked with Studio K.
In addition to the theater, he appeared in films such as The Season of the Monsters (1987) directed by Miklós Jancsó, the 1994 Woyzeck directed by János Szász, The Ash Cigarette End (2001), Fresh Air (2006), Márió, a várázló (2008), the Golden Bear Award-winning and Oscar-nominated Body and Soul (2017) Enyedi From Ildiko, the 2018 Genesis and Valan – The Valley of the Angels (2019). He also played in television series such as Dear Heirs or Tündérkert.
