The Canillo’s common sense advice has approved the award of the new communal public waste collection service to Pirinenca de Services, SAin the framework of the national competition processed jointly by the communes. The concession will have an annual cost of 528,321.75 euros and one maximum duration of ten yearswhich represents a global commitment of 5,283,220 euros.
The new service will include the collection of household trash, organic matter, light packaging, glass i paper i cardboardwith a specific planning of routes, timetables, personnel and machinery adapted to the needs of the parish.
The annual expenditure will be slightly higher than that of the current service, which is of 525,527 euros However, the cost of the remaining fraction, which passes from 297,823 to 233,317 euros per yearand that of glasswhich comes down from 80,311 a 39,403 euros. Light packaging will have a cost of 85,948 euros and the paper and cardboard, of 86,887 euros.
The concession also provides for a progressive renewal of the containers, a specific brigade for cleaning, disinfection and maintenance and a digital system to register and monitor the actions. The implementation of the new model will last until the end of the year.
In the same session, the common has awarded a CAPITAL a framework contract to carry out urgent actions to repair and improve drinking water, rainwater and waste water networks. The endowment will be 100,000 euros per year, IGI not included, from this 2026.
Surplus of 4.25 million
In the economic field, the corporation has approved the budget execution of the first semester with a positive result of 4,250,329 euros i zero debt. On June 30, liquidated income amounted to 13.64 million eurosagainst expenses of 9.39 million.
The Consul General, Jordi Alcobéhas emphasized that the new concession will improve “the quality, monitoring and efficiency of the service”, while the economic situation of the Municipality allows it to face the planned investments “with guarantees”.
The Council has also awarded for 67,350.25 euros the renewal of the park Kindergarten in Soldeu at Multiservices Copríncep and has approved a partial plan in Les Boïgues del Borronet Oest, on the Forn road, which will order a private surface of 3,893.16 square meters distributed in five plots.
Finally, the municipality has informed about the launch of the free service “Attention to the citizen by WhatsApp”to the number +376 323 005which will allow you to make inquiries, report incidents, submit complaints and suggestions and receive guidance on communal procedures.
