    According to the data made public, the persons in question are suspected of having used threats and pressure on businesses, as well as inciting acts of violence, raising concerns about the safety of the protesters and the progress of the gathering.

    Also in focus is the use of the GoFundMe platform, through which money is allegedly requested or collected in circumstances related to the claims of extortion.

    The identities of the persons are now in the hands of Antiterror.

    Some of the names are Elton Xhura, Arjan Koçi, Eduard Ndocaj (former deputy), Gentjan Progni, Arvina Lleshi, Altin Goxhaj, Dajana Kaja, etc.

    The NAMES and details of the case are expected to shed more light on how these actions developed and their connection to the student protest.

    Directorate of Anti-Terrorism

    1 citizen is put in handcuffs, 17 citizens are prosecuted and the materials are referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for 8 cases to identify the perpetrators of calls and incitement for illegal actions in the context of the violent protests of the last 2 weeks.

    As a result of the investigative and procedural actions carried out by the specialized Anti-Terrorist structures, in cooperation with those of the Cybercrime Investigation and the prosecutions of the General Jurisdiction, in relation to the public calls made on social networks, with illegal, violent and threatening content, in the context of the violent protests developed in Tirana and in several districts, since October 13, 2026:

    – the citizen Elton Xhura, 33 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offense of “Spreading false information that incites panic”, after he allegedly sent a threatening message to the Facebook account of a private entity, about placing bombs in 3 different buildings of the entity.

    Also, the materials were referred to the prosecutor’s office for the citizens:

    -Arjan Koçi, 34 years old, (on Instagram he uses the profile under the name Ari_shady) for the criminal offense “Public calls for violent actions”, since on Instagram, he called for violent actions during the protests of the last few weeks.
    Also, it is suspected that this citizen, deceiving citizens that his life was in danger, has opened a “GoFundMe” account to collect funds. During the check, this citizen was found with a document (beige) with which he introduced himself as a journalist, to avoid restrictions and escort by the Police. The document was seized as material evidence;

    -Eduard Ndocaj, 51 years old, resident of Shengjin, for the criminal offenses “Public call for violent actions” and “Call for national hatred”, after he posted videos on social networks, through which he offered sums of money to carry out violent actions against elected representatives of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania and members of the Council of Ministers;

    – Gentjan Progni, 37 years old, for the criminal offenses of “Unjust interference in private life” and “Stalking”, after repeatedly publishing personal data, photographs and videos of State Police employees, with insulting, derogatory and accusatory comments. These publications, carried out mainly in the context of the protests of the last few weeks and which expose to the protesters, the identity of Police officers engaged in guaranteeing order and public safety, create a risk to the lives of Police officers, for their safety and that of their families, as well as incite acts of intimidation, threats and/or violence.

    Also, in the account administered by the 37-year-old, posts with warnings of a threatening nature to state institutions, as well as calls for the identification of other citizens, have been recorded, which have increased concern about the consequences that the distribution of this information on social networks may bring;

    -Altin Goxhaj, 56 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Public call for violent actions” and “Inciting hatred and strife”, after he posted photos and writings through which he called for violent actions during the protests of the last few weeks;

    -AA, 50 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Distribution of anti-constitutional writings” and “Public calls for violent actions”, as he posted an article with anti-constitutional content on his Facebook account;

    – OM, 20 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses of “Organizing and participating in illegal gatherings and demonstrations” and “Distributing anti-constitutional writings”, because during a protest, he placed a banner containing a Nazi symbol on the main facade of the Polytechnic University;

    – AL, 39 years old, RR, 28 years old, L. Xh., 24 years old, EB, 36 years old, O. Rr., 46 years old, DA, 39 years old, EQ, 22 years old, Dajana Kaja, 26 years old, AB, 42 years old, M. Ç., 18 years old and Arvina Lleshi, 24 years old, for the criminal offense “Public call for violent actions”, after their accounts on various online communication platforms, through writings, messages and/or comments, have called for violent actions during the gatherings of the last few weeks.

    Materials were also referred to the prosecutor’s office, for 7 accounts on different platforms for online communication, for the criminal offense “Public call for violent actions”, since writings, messages and/or comments calling for violent actions during the protests of the last few weeks were published in them;

    – the materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, for 1 account on the social network “Instagram”, for the criminal offenses “Public call for violent actions” and “Spreading false information that incites panic”, as calls for violent actions were posted in it during the gatherings of the last weeks.
