MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) – Upon the instruction of the Belarusian president, mechanisms are being worked out that would allow Ukrainian citizens to visit border areas for mushroom and berry foraging in the previously established locations, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
Belarusian border guards are fully prepared to ensure seasonal simplified passage for residents of Ukrainian border areas into the territory of the National Landscape Reserve Olmany Mires in Stolin District of Brest Oblast.
Ukrainian citizens will be able to cross the border at three small border traffic points: Mutvitsa, Khinichev, and Selishche, on the routes toward the Ukrainian villages of Drozdyn, Berezovoye and Poznan in Rovno Region. The relevant information has been sent to the Ukrainian side through diplomatic channels.
