The figures indicate that the United Kingdom was the leading
destination by a substantial margin. However, the unusually large
share attributed to the UK warrants further clarification,
including whether the reported value includes non-monetary gold.
This distinction is important when assessing the underlying
performance and geographical distribution of Azerbaijan’s non-oil
exports.
