In the city of Kharkiv, which is Ukraine’s second largest city, seven so-called glide bombs have hit three different areas of the city.
A 15-year-old person has been killed and 32 others injured, writes the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, on Telegram.
In the southern region of Odesa, two were killed and 15 injured in an attack with a ballistic missile, the regional governor, Oleh Kiper, said.
The missile caused a fire.
In the Kherson region, two people were killed in a drone attack on a minibus, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin announced. Nine others were injured.
Another drone strike hit an administrative building. Here one person was killed and two injured, says Prokudin.
The war in Ukraine, which has been ongoing for over four years, is costing an increasing number of civilian lives on both sides of the front lines.
In recent months, Ukraine has stepped up drone attacks that hit oil facilities and other infrastructure deep inside Russian territory.
This has caused Russia to step up its attacks against Ukraine.
In June, however, a significant decrease in the number of drone and missile attacks from Russia against Ukraine was recorded, if compared to the previous month.
