Artashati State Theater named after Amo Kharazyan presents a new performance to the theater-loving public. In the next three days, on April 28, 29 and 30, the performance “Artashes and Satenik” will be on stage. “Armenpress”At the press conference held in the press hall of Artashat, Kamo Naghdalyan, director of the State Theater named after Amo Kharazyan, noted that a lot of work has been done and they have been preparing for this premiere for 3 years.
“Being the theater of Artashat, it was important for us to have a performance dedicated to King Artashes, the founder of historical Artashat. We took the material from Movses Khorenatsi and referred to the love story of King Artashes. A few days ago there was a closed viewing of the performance and I am very impressed. It is distinguished by its expressiveness and aesthetics. The main message is peace, unity, love,” said Kamo Naghdalyan.
In the Artashat State Theater, many active works are being carried out in the direction of re-equipment. And the lighting equipment has been completely renewed. Due to this, theater performances are presented to the audience in a qualitatively new way. A complete renovation of the hall is planned in the near future.
Karen Khachatryan, artistic adviser to the director of the Amo Kharazyan State Theater in Artashati, noted that a large number of actors are included in the premiere. The work is designed in such a way that the creative staff has full employment.
“We also have invited actors, one of whom took one of the main roles. We, in cooperation with the State Institute of Theater and Cinema, have also invited students. In this way, we aim to further strengthen the connection between young people and the theater. The theater is always open for cooperation, and in this way we are able to smoothly ensure the issue of generational change,” said Karen Khachatryan.
Speaking about the upcoming events, the management of the theater informed that in the near future, tours are expected both in different cities of Armenia and abroad. In particular, the theater will tour in Georgia and the USA. Until then, he will perform in Vaik, Yeghegnadzor, Gavar, Martuni and other cities of Armenia.
Guided by the mission of keeping the play program multi-genre, the theater will also present news in the near future. During the year, theatergoers can enjoy the comedy “Dinner with a Fool”, and for children “The End of Evil”.
