Those who have sat the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and have difficulty to study in Japan on their own can apply the Care Giver Scholarship Programme, said the Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA).
It allows working a part-time job during their studying, concrete job opportunity in Japan after studying, long-term residence permit in Japan as well as the right to live with family in Japan by the Kaigo Fukushi-shi Certificate.
Those aged between 18 and 27 years, passed Grade 12 or Grade 10 in old system and studying the university education for one year or above, have JLPT N4- N2 levels (who sat the JLPT July 2026) and interested in the care giver work and able to work for long term are eligible to apply.
Those who passed the final interview will have to deposit the processing fees K2.5million, said MAJA.
A seminar which will give detailed introduction about the scholarship programme by officials from Japan university has been scheduled to be held at MAJA Education Centre at 1:00pm on 14 July and a Zoom session has been also planned for students outside Yangon.
