The family of makeup artist angelrafael This Thursday, April 23, he fulfilled his last wish. This was announced on social networks with an emotional message that caused a wave of comments and, above all, honor.
“Dear friends and followers of Angelrafael. We are Liz and Dina, sisters of our beloved Angelrafael. With great honor and emotion, today we want to share the launch of I will sing, you will sing. The new version of this majestic work of art, which more than a melody, is a cause,” they wrote to break the news.
This song is a solidarity anthem originally released in 1985 and, its remastering seeks to support the fight against cancer through the Costa Rican foundation Todo Va a Esta Biencreated by Angelrafael and Yorlenny Aguilar.
“He left an extensive legacy of love through his work, making people look and feel beautiful about themselves. He also co-founded and created the non-profit organization Everything Will Be Fine, along with his best friend and soul sister, as he lovingly called her, Yorlenny Aguilar, who with her noble heart has carried this mission of love, warmth, care and joy to children with advanced-stage cancer,” the proud sisters wrote.
The new version of the song, which fulfills one of the makeup artist’s last wishes, was released this Thursday — the day the Univision channel covered the event in Miami, Florida— and released through YouTube.
“We are deeply grateful for your continued support and admiration for our beloved brother. We are incredibly proud of her work, because through it she continues to bring light to those who need it most and, what is even more important, she conveys the message to everyone. that, regardless of the difficulties you are going through, everything will be fine,” they concluded with the heartfelt message.
This version has among the voices of the artists the Costa Rican Ricardo Padilla and figures such as José Luis the Puma Rodríguez, Jordi Llunas, Edith Márquez, Karina, Pancho Uresti, Noreh, Amaury Gutiérrez, Paty Manterola and Lucía Méndez.
The makeup artist Angelrafael González died on November 13, 2024after an intense fight against a brain tumor. He died at the age of 52.
