Andbank and the Andorran Gymnastics Federation (FAG) have renewed this Monday, for the fourth consecutive year, the sponsorship agreement that unites the two entities. The agreement will allow continued giving support for the federation’s activity and will contribute to meeting part of the expenses arising from travel, competitions, equipment and the organization of events. During the event, the new equipment that the gymnasts will wear this season was also presented.
Andbank’s Banca País director, Maria Suárezexplained that this is the fourth consecutive year that the agreement has been formalized and highlighted the good relationship between the two entities. “We have a very good relationship, we are very happy with the results, they are doing spectacularly,” he said. Suárez also pointed out that this year the sponsorship has been extended to support the organization of the Open Andbank and that contributions are adapted to the needs of each season.
On the other hand, the FAG coach, Claudia López, he has noted the importance of this support for the operation of the federation. As indicated, “You get less and less help from the government and the sport remains the same”, while the costs of travel, championships, equipment and the organization of competitions continue to condition the activity. In this sense, he assured that “if we do not have the help of Andbank, it limits us a lot to carry out our function”. López also explained that the new equipment has been made with the collaboration of a designer from the country, a contribution he has described as “extra help and comfort” for the federation.
The gymnast Berta Miquel now faces the decisive stretch of the season with an eye on the two big international dates in the coming weeks: a World Cup trial and, subsequently, the World Championships. As he explained, the first competition will do to measure the level of the exercises before the big goal of the year. “This one World Cup it will serve us very well to know where we are and to be able to demonstrate the exercises we want to bring to the World Cupimproving them during this last month that we will be missing”, he pointed out.
Michael he described the World Cup as “the big event of the season” and explained that the team is focusing now the preparation in perfecting the routines. “The exercises are already well worked out, but now what we want is to go and polish every little detail, get a very good artistic and execution score, which in the end is what makes you move up many positions in the classification, and have the exercise as polished and as perfect as possible”, he concluded.
