The head of public health of the said province, Maulvi Akhtar Muhammad Ikrama, said during the opening of the said department, that the functioning of the ICU department is an important achievement for serious patients and is considered a valuable step in strengthening health services.
According to him, patients were facing many problems due to the lack of intensive monitoring services, but with the activation of this department, timely, standard and effective health services will be provided to patients.
At the same time, Deputy Governor of Khost Maulvi Mehboob Shah Qant said that the provincial administration will continue its cooperation to strengthen the health sector and asked the health personnel to perform their duties in the field of treatment and service of patients with full responsibility.
Moulvi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister of Health Services of the Ministry of Public Health, also said that the leadership of the Ministry is committed to expanding health services in different regions of the country and making it easier for people to access them.
Also, the head of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Hakeem Hammat, said that the health personnel of the said department will be given continuous technical and professional training in order to provide the best health services to critical patients according to international standards.
