An intern from penitentiary center of Comella had to be transferred Thursday afternoon to the hospital Nostra Senyora de Meritxell after starring in an episode ofself-harm inside the center. The transfer took place around five in the afternoon in an ambulance and accompanied bypolice officers, who participated in the custody arrangement during the displacement.
The sources consulted by diary ensure that the inmate, who is serving a firm prison sentence imposed by Superior Court for a serious crime, he would have reacted with threats of self-harm after those in charge of the center denied him the entry of an electronic device – specifically a console PlayStation portable – which he intended to bring into the prison from the outside.

Faced with the situation, the emergency services moved to the center and, after an initial assessment, it was decided to evacuate him to the hospital to undergo the necessary tests and treat injuries. Once admitted to the hospital, the intern was under permanent surveillance.
