In the meeting with the said delegation, the local officials emphasized the speed of the implementation of the preliminary affairs and basic projects related to the airport and said that the implementation of this project can play an important role in the economic growth of the country, the ease of people’s movement and the development of transportation infrastructure.
According to the officials of the Islamic Emirate, about 13 thousand acres of land has been allocated in this area for the construction of this airport.
It is decided that the initial work of this project will be started from the budget of the said ministry at the cost of 300 million Afghanis.
