UNICEF: 265 children have been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) confirmed that 265 Palestinian children have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire in October 2025, at a rate of one child per day, and more than 400 others were seriously injured.
The organization explained that children are still being killed and injured despite the declared truce, calling for the protection of children and ensuring accountability, stressing that any ceasefire loses its meaning as long as children pay the price.
