Adrian AC Clarke is the 2026 Courtesy Garage Pic-O-De-Crop Calypso Monarch after defeating 17 competitors with his song, Legends From The Grave, in the finals at the National Botanical Gardens early Saturday.
The victory secured Clarke his fourth Calypso Monarch crown and earned him the choice of a $100 000 cash prize or a 2026 GAC EMKOO Elite GX motor vehicle, complete with one year of insurance valued at $5 000. He also received the championship trophy and other prizes.
Speaking to Barbados TODAY after his triumph, Clarke said he was considering taking the vehicle.
Kid Site placed second with Talk Like Mia, while i-Web finished third with Colour in B. Defending monarch Mr Blood, who won the title last year, finished fourth with Ain’t Leaving.
The sold-out show lasted more than five hours, with thousands of patrons packing the National Botanical Gardens.
