A man has died and another sustained serious injuries following a collision between two motorbikes in Phnom Penh.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:40 a.m. on April 13 at the intersection of Street 63 and Street 242 in Chaktomuk Commune, Daun Penh District, Phnom Penh.
Prior to the crash, a Honda CRF motorcycle was traveling along Street 242 in an east–west direction. Upon reaching the four-way intersection, it collided head-on with a Honda Beat motorcycle.
The rider of the Honda Beat was killed in the impact, while the rider of the other motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Phnom Penh traffic police later impounded both motorcycles as part of the investigation.
The body of the deceased was handed over to relatives for funeral.
