

The acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, met this Tuesday in Caracas with a delegation of the United States Department of Energycountry to which He once again called for the sanctions against Venezuela to end.
The meeting was in Miraflores Palace and attended by US authorities such as Kyle Haustveit and Laura Dogu.
Rodríguez addressed the president donald trump and asked him to lift sanctions so that investments “can be fully developed”.
He stressed that licenses do not offer legal certaintywell they are temporaryand that investors need long term stability.
The interim president considered that both countries have the “sufficient maturity” to establish energy, economic and cooperation relations.
He did not mention the recent US decision to lift sanctions on Venezuelan public banksincluding the Central Bank of Venezuela.
The measure allows commercial transactions with the Venezuelan governmentalthough with prior authorization from Washington.
These decisions come after the withdrawal of sanctions against Delcy Rodríguez and are part of a thaw process between Washington and Caracas.
