The measure seeks to benefit former military personnel who served in emergency zones and participated in actions against terrorism during the last two decades.
In accordance with this rule, the benefit is aimed at graduates recognized by the Joint Command of the Armed Forces (CCFFAA) as of December 31, 2024.
Applicants must have completed mandatory military service between 1980 and 2000for a consecutive period of 12 to 24 months, and hold specific troop ranks, such as recruits, soldiers, corporals or sergeants.
In that sense, the law specifies that this bonus “It is neither remunerative nor pensionable in nature” and will be non-transferable. “The exceptional economic bonus amounts to the sum of S/ 1,130.00, which is delivered to each veteran graduate whose application is approved on a monthly basis,” the document indicates.
To access the amount, interested parties have until July 31, 2027 to submit your application. In addition to military history, beneficiaries must prove that they are not food debtors nor do they have a police, criminal or judicial record.
The disbursement will be made progressively over a period of five years, structured by age groups.
In the first year, priority will be given to those over 60 years of age and people with disabilities. In the second, those who are between 55 and 59 years old will be prioritized, continuing until the fifth year with the group of 40 to 44 years old.
In turn, the Ministry of Defense will be responsible for managing the registration in the Centralized Registry of Payrolls and Data of Public Sector Human Resources application, guaranteeing that all approved files are registered no later than July 31, 2028.
According to the rule, financing will come from the Defense sector budget, without requiring additional resources from the public treasury.
