THE Michelin announced this Monday (13) Brazilian stars in the 2026 edition. The ceremony of the French guide, one of the biggest in the gastronomic field, took place at Copacabana Palace, in Rio de Janeiroand announced the selection of restaurants paulistanos and cariocas.
Two houses were awarded three Michelin stars, Evvai and Tuju, both in São Paulo. Three others kept the two stars they earned last year. See below what the restaurants are and how much it costs to eat in each of them.

Chef Luiz Filipe Souza runs the restaurant, which focuses on Italian and Brazilian cuisine. Then, for R$1,250, you can try dishes such as duck, eel and tucupi tortellini, and wild boar with orange and savory (an aromatic herb). Pairings start at R$619.

Tuju
Chef Ivan Ralston serves a tasting menu created based on research into São Paulo cuisine inputs and follows the logic of the seasons, with the Humidade, Seca, Ventania and, currently, Chuva menus. Served in ten servings, it costs R$1,500, with a 15% suggested service charge. One of the dishes is squid stuffed with mushrooms and huitlacoche, a corn fungus. There’s also lotus seed for texture and it’s finished with Brazilian truffle. It has three types of pairings: wines with classic labels (R$2,100), discoveries (R$950) and non-alcoholic (R$550).

Two stars
SUN
Founded 27 years ago by chef Alex Atala, it is one of the most renowned in the capital of São Paulo. Offers tasting menu in ten stages using Brazilian ingredients and highlights national cuisine. The meal costs R$1,150 and, among the dishes, are alligator with bacuri and tapioca ravioli with fresh herbs and snow peas in tucupi. If you opt for dinner with wine pairing (nine labels), it costs R$1,930.

Lasai
Led by Rafa Costa e Silva and Malena Cardiel, the restaurant combines modern techniques and Brazilian ingredients grown in its own gardens and those of small farmers. Creations such as the one with squid, onions and melon emphasize vegetables. Served only by reservation, the tasting menu costs R$1,380, with a suggested service charge of 13% and wine pairing for R$638.

I pray
Chef Felipe Bronze highlights dishes to eat with your hands, four main dishes and a dessert for R$1,100. Recipes appear that combine elements such as heart of palm, jamón, fish and tomatoes. Among the main dishes is the gnocchi dish, accompanied by porcini mushrooms and Tulha cheese. Dinner can be ordered with wine pairing, for R$650.
