The former civil servant and businessman Lars Møller-Sørensen was 62 years old.

Møller-Sørensen held several leading positions in Greenland during a quarter of a century and will be remembered for many things along the way.
He arrived in Greenland in 1995, where he became personnel director in Mittarfeqarfiit and later got management positions in KNI.
In 2014, he started his work for Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, where his career peaked with the position of municipal director from 2017 to 2021.
Along the way, he made some controversial decisions about the economy and housing policy that led to his departure from office. He then founded a consulting company.
Lars Møller-Sørensen was accused last year of having given former politician Lars-Emil Johansen (S) a municipal job on false grounds. The case ended with both of them being acquitted of fraud in the high court.
In his young days in Denmark, Lars Møller-Sørensen was active in party politics for Venstre as youth chairman and municipal politician in Kolding.
Lars Møller-Sørensen leaves behind three daughters, and he will be buried in Seest near Kolding on Saturday, the Altinget writes.
