Madrid/The renowned Cuban musician Paquito D’Rivera, a key figure in Latin jazz and winner of 17 Grammy Awards, will offer a unique concert in Madrid.
For the first time in this room, it will present an innovative format that fuses jazz and classical music, reinterpreting composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Frédéric Chopin in trio format.
Accompanied by Pepe Rivero (piano) and Sebastián Laverde (vibraphone), the concert is committed to a performance without a traditional rhythm section, in a proposal that the artist himself describes as “risky and exciting.”
Special guest: Antonio Serrano, one of the great virtuosos of the chromatic harmonica.
Founder of Irakere and deeply linked to Madrid, D’Rivera returns to a city that he considers special in his personal and artistic career.
