The influencer Mexican known as Elisa “La Yuca”unleashed a strong controversy when sharing a video via TikTok where you can see dozens of flamingos fleeing from his habitatsince apparently they were disturbed by the music that he put in place.
The event occurred in Sisal northwest of the state of Yucatana mangrove area where birds gather to feed and nest during this time of year.
“They woke up, they heard Yeri Mua, they woke up, and look how many there are and more keep coming out, like a plague of flamingos, look. They are all leaving..”mentioned the content creator, causing indignation among Internet users.

Given the indications in social networksthe content creator responded to the attacks with a video where he explained the situation:
“It wasn’t just me, there were a lot of families in Sisal. At no time did we see any sign that prohibited playing music… there was a person taking care of the mangrove and he didn’t tell us anything, just to turn down the music,” he said.
According to the version of the influencerthey heeded the indication of the caretaker of the area and suddenly the flamingoscausing people to be impressed when they saw them fly.
Furthermore, the caretaker supposedly mentioned to them that at that time of day the flocks flew out, so it was an everyday scene in that area.
“I’m going to be waiting for my fine, to see what they’re going to tell me… because I was just like any tourist,” he added.
