Later this year, the Sarfaarsuit Center will open in the Nuuk district of Nuussuaq, and among the shops will be a Burger King with a “drive-in”.
In an update about the construction of the Sarfaarsuit Center, Pisiffik writes that the center is expected to open later this year.
The center will be 9,000 m² spread over two levels in the district of Nuussuaq in Nuuk, and it will house a number of shops.
It is Pisiffik that is behind the new centre, and according to the company it will be the stores JYSK, ILVA and a Pisiffik convenience store.
In addition, a Burger King with a drive-in is also opening, Pisiffik reveals in the update on Facebook.
In autumn, there were long queues to get a Whopper in Sisimiut, when Greenland’s first Burger King opened there, and now the restaurant chain is also coming to the capital.
Pisiffik further informs that work is also being done to establish a construction market in the new centre, and the company will in the coming time present several of the stores and concepts that will be part of the centre.
“We are very much looking forward to creating a new trading and meeting place in Nuuk. It must be a place where it is easy to do your shopping, but also a place where there is life and good experiences,” says non-food director Peter Thomsen.
