Aviaja Rohmann Hansenpastor, has held his last service in Nuuk for this round. She has got her dream job in Langeland in Denmark.
– Of course I am sad to have to stop as a priest here in Nuuk, but now I want to try something else and it will be good to be a little closer to Jonas (her son, ed.), she writes in a post on Facebook.
She said goodbye to her congregation with a sermon she called “New beginning and new hope. Go in peace”.
According to reports, she is the first Greenlandic priest trained by Ilisimatusarfik who has been given office in Denmark.
