Washington.- The police New York shot dead a person who had stabbed at least three people at the station Grand Central of the subway, the chain reported cnn.
According to a municipal official cited by that medium, the aggressorwho carried a macheteignored orders to drop the weapon and lunged at the officers, who then opened fire.
The man died due to their injuries and the three stabbed people were taken to a hospital, where are expected to survive.

The incident occurred around 9:50 a.m. local time (1:50 p.m. GMT) on a Gran Central subway platform, one of the largest and busiest stations in the city, in the middle of the manhattan.
The police continue to investigate the events although, according to CNN, they have no evidence that points to a terrorist attack.
