First of April is the day of April fools. Families, neighbors and businesses often use the day for fun and trouble. At AG, we have collected four funny stories from the day.
Just call this number
– How have you fooled people on April Fool’s Day?
– Peter tricked his many older sisters. He told them to call a number and wrote to all of them to call it. They therefore ended up calling the same person, who became very confused, Paninnguaq Miunge tells AG.

How did his older sisters react?
– Some laughed, while others called him Piitaaq and got a little annoyed, says Paninnguaq Miunge.
Pilersuisoq in Qaanaaq “closed” during Easter
– When I looked at my photos, I got the idea to edit one of them with ChatGPT (artificial intelligence, ed.). I chose a picture of Pilersuisoq during Qaanaaq’s Easter opening hours and changed it to say it was closed, Aqattannguaq Qaerngaaq, a resident of Qaanaaq, told AG.

It said the store would be closed five days in a row. I posted the picture on my Facebook page so only my followers could see it. But people started sharing it on the “Qaanaaq message board” Facebook page.
People reacted differently, and some believed it so much that they thought the employees of Pilersuisoq had the whole Easter off – yes, even on weekdays.
It was also connected to the fact that Pilersuisoq had just finished their status.
As the backlash grew stronger, and some even started talking about firing the merchant, I chose to say that the photo was edited with ChatGPT and that it was all an April Fool’s joke. Otherwise, I had only intended to reveal the truth the next day, says Aqattannguaq Qaerngaaq with a laugh.

The clothing store Inuit Quality Clothes of Greenland has presented the entertainer Piitannguaq Alaufesen as their new partner on Facebook.

In addition, they write that there will be entertainment in the store every Friday.
