The digital platform for the claim of the Negotiable Investment Payment Certificate (Cepanim) registers progress and is approaching its implementation phase, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).
In this sense, the coordinator of the MEF Cepadem Care and Delivery Office, Carmen Jaénexplained the key details about the operation of the system, which will allow beneficiaries to manage the claim process more quickly.
Jaén announced that the platform will enable an online registry where interested parties must complete their data and attach the corresponding documentation, depending on whether they are direct beneficiaries or heirs.
Therefore, it recommended that users prepare the required documents in advance to avoid delays in the process.
Likewise, it was reported that the process will have defined stages, including the validation of the information provided and the subsequent delivery of the certificates.
It was also clarified that, in cases where there are multiple beneficiaries, specific guidelines will be established for the distribution and withdrawal of the Cepadim.
The ministry reiterated that the certificates may be withdrawn by authorized beneficiaries, complying with the requirements established by the entity.
Cepadim is a financial instrument that is part of the compensation mechanisms of the Panamanian State.
The entity reiterated that the official start date of the process will be announced soon, and urged citizens to stay informed through the official channels of the MEF.
