    Starting today, air conditioners are being turned on in buses in Tashkent


    Starting from May 7, cooling systems in buses in the capital will be put into operation step by step. It is promised that buses with faulty air conditioning will not be sent to the route, and technical faults will be quickly eliminated.

    Starting from May 7, air conditioners will be put into operation step by step in the bus hall of Tashkent city. About this “Toshshahartranskhizmat” reported.

    It is reported that in cases where the outside air temperature is higher than +28°C, cooling (air conditioning) systems in bus cabins must be switched on. It is necessary to maintain the temperature inside the bus cabin at +26°C.

    The following is promised in the statement of “Toshshahartranskhizmat” JSC:

    • buses with faulty air conditioning will not be allowed on the route;
    • technical failures are eliminated in a short period of time;
    • all drivers are given special instructions on the correct use of air conditioners.

    “Each appeal made by passengers will not be ignored and drastic measures will be taken. We apologize to passengers for the temporary inconvenience!” – it is said in the information of the company.

    Along with “Toshshahartranskhizmat”, Poytakht General Directorate of Transport also responded to these criticisms said. According to the statement of the board, on April 30, an instruction letter was sent to all carriers regarding the fact that the cooling system should work continuously in all buses when the outside temperature exceeds +28°C.

    It is noted that strict disciplinary and contractual measures will be taken against carriers who do not comply with the requirements of this instruction.
