7 clinics in 6 specialties
The convoy was implemented under the supervision of the therapeutic medical convoy team headed by Dr. Yasser Khairy Al-Sharqawi, convoy coordinator, and with the participation of Dr. Muhammad Khalaf Abdel Hamid, medical supply officer, Taha Kamal Hajjaj, financial and administrative officer, Eid Farag Farag, convoy information officer, and Ahmed Muhammad Ajami, site preparation and clinic preparation officer. The convoy was organized over the course of two days, April 22 and 23, through 7 clinics in 6 specialties of internal medicine, children, surgery, and women. Dermatology and family planning, while applying all preventive measures.
Signing a medical examination for 1034 patients
The convoy resulted in the medical examination of 1,034 patients, with free treatment being provided to them, in addition to 104 blood tests, 64 parasitology tests, 7 regular x-rays, 3 cases being referred for medical reports at state expense, in addition to 120 ultrasound cases being performed.
Health education seminars benefited 160 citizens
The convoy also included the implementation of a number of health education seminars, benefiting 160 citizens, which covered important topics, including prevention of the Corona virus, pregnancy follow-up, family planning, early detection of breast cancer, food safety, the dangers of drug misuse, breastfeeding, and physiological changes in women after menopause.
Conducting early detection tests for blood pressure and diabetes for 299 citizens
In a related context, early detection tests for blood pressure and diabetes were conducted for 299 citizens, bringing the total medical services provided during the convoy to 3,254 services, reflecting the state’s keenness to support the health system and reduce the burden on citizens, especially in rural and needy areas.
