OpenAI expands business. In addition to Microsoft, artificial intelligence is coming to Google and Amazon Cloud.
The company OpenAI has announced that it has terminated the exclusive access that technology giant Microsoft had to its artificial intelligence (AI) models.
In this way, the possibility of business expansion to the cloud platforms of other competitors, including Amazon and Google, opens up, Reuters reported.
After the announcement, Microsoft’s shares fell by around one percent, as investors assessed this decision as a potential loss of competitive advantage in the field of artificial intelligence.
According to the new agreement, OpenAI’s products will first be marketed on Microsoft’s Azure platform, except in cases where the company is unable or unwilling to implement certain functionalities, preosi B92.
At the same time, OpenAI will be able to sell its technologies through the cloud infrastructure of other companies, which indicates a change in the current cooperation model and a possible further tightening of competition among leading technology companies.
