Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Tomas Zambranopresident of the National Congress, rejected this Wednesday the authenticity of the audios broadcast on social networks and international media about alleged electoral fraud, and announced that they will be sent to specialized laboratories in the United States for analysis.
Through a publication on his X account, Zambrano described the audios as “false” and assured that they are part of a campaign promoted by “the connection of the international left in related networks and media.”
“I had not wanted to officially refer to the issue of the false audios that the connection of the international left has been disseminating in networks and related media,” the congressman wrote.
According to Zambrano, recordings attributed to Honduran political figures present obvious inconsistencies in voices and accents.
Message to the Honduran people:
I had not wanted to officially refer to the issue of fake audios that the connection of the international left has been spreading on related networks and media.

“For all Hondurans who have listened to us for years in interviews, forums and speeches, it is evident that those voices are not ours. Some were even fabricated with a Colombian or Nicaraguan accent,” he stated.
The nationalist deputy added that the National Congress approved the sending of the audios to “specialized laboratories in the United States”, which, as he indicated, have certifications linked to agencies such as the DEA and the FBI, with the aim of determining the authenticity of the recordings.
“Once we have the results of the international expert opinion, we will immediately proceed to initiate the corresponding legal actions against those who have committed crimes against the honor of several Hondurans,” said Zambrano.
Likewise, he assured that they will not allow “foreign agendas” to divert attention from the country’s problems. “Our commitment is clear: to work without distractions to provide real answers and solutions to the needs of the Honduran people,” he expressed.
