According to the online economy report, quoted by Mehr, Sadegh Ziaian, head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks of the Meteorological Organization, explained the latest weather situation in the country and said: Today (Monday, May 14), with the passage of mid-level atmospheric waves from the northwest of the country, in the provinces of West Azarbaijan, East Azarbaijan, Ardabil, Gilan, West Mazandaran, Zanjan and parts of the provinces located in the west and center, as well as the heights and slopes of Central Alborz, Qazvin, North In Alborz and the highlands of Tehran province, scattered showers are expected in some hours and sometimes accompanied by temporary strong winds.
He added: “Tomorrow (Tuesday, May 15), there will be a shower of rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder and wind, in the west, northwest, heights and slopes of Alborz, the shores of the Caspian Sea and the northeast of the country.”
Ziaian stated: On Wednesday (May 16) and Thursday (May 17) in the north of West Azarbaijan and East Azarbaijan provinces, Ardabil, the shores of the Caspian Sea and the heights of Central Zagros, the increase in clouds and scattered rain is not far from expected.
He continued: From today to Wednesday, in the northwest, west, southwest and southern slopes of Alborz, strong winds will occur in some hours, and in prone areas, dust and a decrease in air quality are predicted.
The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks said about the weather in Tehran: the sky in Tehran will be a little cloudy today (May 14), and from the afternoon, an increase in clouds, sometimes scattered rain, strong wind and dust are expected. The minimum temperature in Tehran will be 20 and the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees Celsius.
He reminded: Based on the yellow meteorological warning issued for Tehran province, from today until the end of Wednesday (May 16), relatively strong to strong winds are expected in some hours in the northern areas of Tehran province, and in the southern half and western and central regions, strong and sometimes very strong winds with dust are expected in some hours.
Ziaian continued: Due to these weather conditions, there is a possibility of some objects falling from a height, damage to temporary structures such as scaffolding, billboards and equipment in high places such as towers and masts. Also, the possibility of spreading dust from the neighboring provinces, reducing the air quality and reducing the visibility especially in the southern and western areas of Tehran is predicted.
He said: There is a possibility of a dust storm, especially in the south and southwest of Tehran province.

In the end, Ziaian pointed out: In the heights of Tehran, rain, sometimes showers and thunderstorms, the possibility of snow showers, the occurrence of fog, fogging of the upper elevations and peaks, snowfall, the possibility of snow blizzards and hail are not far from expected.
