According to Catherine Ferron, Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center, Deputy Head of the OSCE Secretariat, these inquiries are extremely important for the OSCE.

“It is an important tool for ensuring accountability and developing future policies. The research results show dedication and work in this field. The OSCE is committed to the reform agenda, and we are ready to support the Ministry of Internal Affairs in further actions,” he said.
Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan said that in a positive sense, there is an increase in many, many indicators from the point of view of trust in the police.

“I am glad that we have an increase in confidence in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, because very often we discuss that within the framework of the reforms it is challenging for us to carry out the correct distribution of roles and to form the correct public perception within the framework of the ministry and state bodies under the ministry, and it is very important that our public has begun to perceive the functions of the ministry much more correctly,” said the minister.
The surveys were conducted by the independent research organization “ArInsights” on behalf of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. 1812 respondents participated in the surveys by making calls to mobile phone numbers from Yerevan and regions.
