The court in the Dnipropetrovsk region chose preventive measures for three soldiers of the “Da Vinci Wolves” battalion, who are suspected of shooting and abducting a person, in the form of detention for 60 days without bail.

Details: During the meeting, the prosecutor emphasized the gravity of the crime and noted that the victim was found unconscious. According to the investigation, after beating and abducting the man, the perpetrators tried to hide from the law enforcement officers in a nearby settlement, where they were detained.

One of the suspects stated that the conflict occurred due to obscene swearing. According to his version, they tried to take the victim to the hospital.
“On the way, he began to tap his feet, asking where we were taking him. We stopped, we said: let’s take him to the hospital. He said: no need, everything is fine, let him go. After that we let him go,” the Da Vinci Wolves fighter told the court.
What preceded:
- According to the investigation, incident happened on May 1 at around 11:40 p.m. near a store in the town of Shakhtarske, Synelnyk District.
- The police established that three men aged 38, 25 and 24 came to the store, where they entered into a conflict with a 20-year-old man. The quarrel turned into a fight, during which the victim was beaten until he lost consciousness.
- After the victim fainted, the attackers pushed him into the car. Before leaving the scene, they fired several shots from an automatic weapon in the direction of the store, which caused a fire. Soon, a video of the incident appeared on social networks, and law enforcement officers confirmed the involvement of servicemen of the “Da Vinci Wolves” battalion in the event. The victim was later hospitalized at a medical facility.
