Through its networks, Petropar announced a new adjustment in the prices of all fuels. With this new increase that governs from today, the state company’s fuel has already risen from G. 1,500 to G. 1,950 per liter.
The state signature Paraguayan Petroleum (Petropar) once again confirmed the increase in its prices, which will come into effect from today. The new tariff is as follows:
- Diesel Porã: G. 8,200
- Mbarete Diesel: G. 10,000
- Nafta Kape 88: G. 6,690
- Oikoite 93 Naphtha: G. 7,190
- Nafta Aratirí 97: G. 8,540
These new prices imply a significant increase compared to the last increase announced on April 10. The increases even exceed 8% in the case of diesel and 5% in the case of gasoline.
This year, Petropar already registers accumulated increases of between G. 1,500 and G. 1,950 per liter, with the most significant increases recorded in diesel.

Gas also rises
At the same time, the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as confirmed by the Paraguayan Chamber of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Fractionation Companies (Capagas).
Depending on the emblem, the increase will be around 300 and 500 guaraníes per kilo.
