Members of the Annaba State Security Search and Intervention Squad were able to arrest members of an organized criminal network specialized in trafficking in hard drugs, led by an intermediate school teacher in the municipality of Boni.
According to a statement by the interests, the overthrow of the members of this gang, at the end of last week, came as a result of exploiting information indicating the existence of an organized criminal network specialized in cocaine trafficking, which hastened the development of a precise plan that enabled the arrest of 7 people and the seizure of more than 6 kilograms of cocaine and a sum of money from promotional revenues in the national currency exceeding 300 million centimes, as well as a tourist car and a motorcycle used to transport and promote hard drugs.
Immediately after completing all the necessary legal procedures, the suspects were presented before the Public Prosecutor at the El Haggar Court on the case of illegally selling and placing for sale, as well as obtaining, possessing, offering and purchasing for the purpose of selling hard drugs within the framework of an organized criminal group.
