The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has formally charged Ketwan Hamilton of Lime Kiln Project, St. Kitts, in connection with the homicide that occurred at the Royal Kingdom Snackette in Lime Kiln on April 20, 2026.
Hamilton faces multiple charges, including murder in relation to Shamarie Baptiste, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, discharging a loaded firearm in a public place, and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He was officially charged at the Basseterre Police Station on April 29, 2026.
In a related update, the RSCNPF confirmed that four additional suspects have been arrested and are currently in police custody in connection with two separate homicide investigations. The Force noted that a range of investigative and tactical measures have been implemented as efforts continue to ensure public safety and advance ongoing cases.
Authorities emphasized that investigations remain active, with further updates to be provided as developments arise.
The RSCNPF is also appealing to members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist in these investigations. Information can be shared at the nearest police station or submitted anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 707.
