The officers of the Celje Police Department were informed in the afternoon about a fatal work accident that occurred in the area of Škal in the municipality of Velenje.
According to the information collected so far, the accident occurred when a 38-year-old farmer was moving concrete grates with a forklift. While reversing, he drove over the edge of the yard, causing forklift rolled over and buried him under him. Despite quick help, the 38-year-old man died at the scene of the accident.
Police officers and criminal investigators conduct a tour of the scene and collect information about all the circumstances of the accident. According to the first findings, foreign fault is excluded.
