The Public Corporation for Urban and Peri-urban Transport of the city of Algiers and its environs, “Etoza”, announced today, Saturday, in a statement, the launch of thirty new lines as part of its efforts to strengthen the transport network and improve the quality of services, starting tomorrow, Sunday.
The new lines, within this process, which is “the largest in the institution’s history,” include 12 administrative districts affiliated with the state of Algeria, in addition to two administrative districts outside the state, the statement adds.
These concerns the lines May Day – Diyar Al Saada/El Elements (Sidi M’hamed District), Farhani-Zaghara, Farhani-Jais, Rais Hamidou-Bouzaria/Sidi Lakbir (Bab El Oued District), Kouba-Bab Ezzouar via Mohammedia (Hussein Dey District), Baba Hassan-Bir Khadem via Haouch Youssef, District 3746 Justice Residence in Douira-Chevaly (Draria District), District Kourifa-El Harrach, El Harrach-Ben Aknoun, passing through the Military Hospital (El Harrach District).
In addition, there are the lines Marsa-Rouiba/Ain Taya (Rouiba District), Al-Rukhi-Souidaniya (Cheraga District), Al-Kalitos-Bab Ezzouar Train Station/Bab Ezzouar Bridge (Baraki District), Ain Naadja Al-Qadima-District 720 Maskan Ain Naadja/metro station, Ouled Belhaj-Baba Ali/Houch Zouzou, Bir Mourad Rais-Al-Abiar, Bir Khadem-Ben Aknoun station, passing through Tqasrain. (Bir Murad Rais District).
The new lines also include Istaouli-Suwaydaniya, passing through Ballouta, Zeralda-Chevalley, passing through Ballouta/Military Hospital/Khaiti, Estawali, Zeralda train station, passing through Palm Beach (Zeralda District), 1310 Maksun neighborhood in Tsala al-Marjah, May 2 station/Tafoura, Boualem Orabi neighborhood in Baba Ali-Baraki (Bir Touta District).
It also includes Sidi Bennour, District 22 and District 23 – Zeralda, passing through the district of 25 residences in the district of Khaira and Douaouda, Sidi Bennour-Ben Aknoun, Sidi Abdallah roundabout / train station – Rahmaniyah, district 1,500 homes in Zaatria – May 2 station, passing through Baba Ali and Walakot, district 1,500 homes in Zaatria-Chevali, district 412 homes in Sidi Bennour / Rahmaniyah, district 6,000 housing units in the district of Khaira – Ben Aknoun, passing through Douira (Sidi Abdellah District), district 796, housing Boudouaou Bahri – Al-Raghaya station (Boumerdes Province), Wednesday – Baraki, passing through Bel Aouadi, Bougara – May 2 station / Tafoura (Blida Province).
The first flight is scheduled to depart at 6 a.m., and the last flight will be at 18:30 p.m., the same source explains.
