Secretary General of the National Liberal Party, Dan Motreanuaccuses the Social Democratic Party of formalizing the collaboration with the Alliance for the Union of Romanians by initiating the no-confidence motion against the government led by Ilia Bolojanwarning that an eventual fall of the executive should be followed by the assumption of government by the new majority.
“P.S.D formalized its collaboration with GOLDannouncing the submission of a no-confidence motion against the government led by Ilie Bolojan. Sorin Grindeanu has repeatedly claimed that it will not collaborate with AUR. Today’s alliance confirms Grindeanu’s permanent lie”, says Motreanu.
The leader PNL invites the new alliance to take over the government.
“At the same time, Ilie Bolojan respected the governing program that was voted by P.S.D in Parliament. PNL conveyed unequivocally that he will no longer form a coalition with the PSD if this party vote a motion of no confidence against the government.
If the PSD-AUR alliance has enough votes to bring down the government, then it is natural for them to take on the responsibility of governing,” Motreanu said.
