On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the restoration of independence, Portal Analitika brings numerous reminders of the referendum held on May 21, 2006.
Among them is a series of texts about the outcome of the referendum in each municipality individually. At that time, there were 21 municipalities in Montenegro, and we will present the results – including those by settlements – in alphabetical order. Therefore, the first in line is Andrijevica.
Andrijevica was one of four municipalities in which there were less than 5,000 voters. More precisely, there were some in the electoral roll 4,369and 3,928 of them went to the polls, that is 89.9 percent.
The “yes” option was circled by 1,084 voters, that is 27.7 percent. There were 2,824 voters for the “no” option or 72.3 percent. There were also 20 invalid ballots.
There were a total of 23 polling stations in Andrijevica. And at the same time, the “no” option won more votes on each.
The highest percentage of votes for independence was registered at the polling station in Gnjilo Potok (46.5 percent), and for a common state at the polling station in Trepča (88.1 percent).
