This is how the logic of reason rules – Ihsan Bashi Al-Atabi
Despite the large number of appeals directed to officials in Wasit Governorate, starting from the governor all the way to the police command, regarding the deteriorating conditions at all levels in the Al-Jarahi/Al-Dabiyah 3 area in the city of Kut, silence is still the only answer. Silence cannot be justified, no matter how many excuses there are.
In light of this reality, there are two possible possibilities:
Firstly, the media offices did their duty and communicated these appeals as they were, but the officials chose to ignore them, which is a clear disregard for the suffering of citizens and their rights.
Secondly, or these offices did not fulfill their role in conveying the people’s voice honestly as they were supposed to, and here the responsibility is doubled, and it becomes necessary to reconsider them and replace them completely.
In both cases, the result is the same: citizens whose suffering is left unresolved, and their legitimate demands are met with neglect.
Here we are not talking about luxuries, but rather about the simplest elements of life that should not be subject to bargaining or procrastination.
This is how the logic of reason rules… Continuing silence does not change anything about the truth.
