The director of the Passenger Transport Network (RTP), Daniel Arcos Rodríguez, reported that the Centrobusa new route that will travel through the Historic Center, will begin operating on May 8.

“The Centrobús, the Indigenous Women’s Route, will help us guarantee dignified, clean and accessible mobility in the Historic Center of the Mexico Cityin addition to contributing to reducing vehicular traffic and connecting with work, cultural, tourist, and commercial center spaces, as well as connecting our users with other mobility systems,” the official explained.
He detailed that will have two circuitswith a total of 33 stops. The first circuit, called the Exterior Route, has a length of 6.2 kilometers and will cover the streets of the Republic of Salvador, Circunvalación, Republic of Venezuela and Eje Central. And the Interior Route, with a length of 5.8 kilometers, will run through the streets of Republic of Uruguay, Central Axis, Donceles and Circunvalación Avenue.
It is estimated that there will be a minimum demand for 88 thousand 400 peopleon a monthly basis.
