Jamarbër Malltezi, the son-in-law of the leader of the DP Sali Berisha, defendant in the “Partizani” case, said today after the session in the Special Court that the testimony of Taulant Balla before the jury was a fraud from beginning to end, just like the report he had made at the beginning of the time in SPAK.
He emphasized that he would repeat the criminal complaint against Balla and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“Balla lied in the Court. He lied when he said that Malltezi took 5% from the owners, he didn’t have a document, he said he got it from media sources. He lied when he said that Malltezi got 60% of the shares, he said he heard it. He is a person who should be blamed. He was asked about his statement that he didn’t leave without putting Saliu in prison, he kept silent. Balla lied about public facts. He said that the constructions were done with Berisha’s permission, but he lied and said today that he was not aware, so there are 11 lies in Taulant Balla’s report”, said Malltezi, among other things.
Asked by interested journalists about what happened in the session, he continued to explain that what he was saying were facts and not allegations, where Balla listed his false testimony. And for this reason, he would repeat the criminal complaint against the SP deputy and the head of the government.
“We will be in the next session where we will make the rebuttals for Taulant Balla’s statements, some of them were lies, they were lying, what I am saying is based on facts. What has not been expropriated is in the Official Notebook. We will repeat the criminal charges against Taulant Balla and Edi Rama for this fraud. Balla lied and violated the law throughout the session,” said Malltezi.
He described the process as stilted and political, and even accused Balla of declaring before the report to the party that he “wouldn’t bother without putting Berisha in prison”. He also accused Balla of illegal use of personal data.
“The process is complicated and political. Balla has violated the law by placing all the institutions under attack, violating them. Balla had no right to receive personal data and even more so to pass it on to Alket Hysen, but today he lied and only said that he had heard it from the media. What I am saying are not claims but facts. Taulant Balla will not take the ground because he does not escape the report for false denunciation, they are 11 lies,” he said.
